      We remember Mobile,
      Medgar, Malcolm and friends.
      Designated fountains--
      Unusual bathroom labels--
      Backseated buses--
      Jackie Robinson
      Poll tax; Literacy tests
      Civil Rights
      Bill.
      Yes, I remember Selma--
      When you absorbed a right hook
      Intended for my soft chin.
      Your blood--our victory.
      Thanks.
