The Guilt Trip

      by Kenya Bryant

They come in every shape and form
their cries are heard even in quietest storm

the pain and anguish of lives being taken
away, as if they had some penalty to pay

Being locked behind a barrier in which they
have nothing to do but shout,
shout until their tongues tire out

the people or whatever they may be
are hooked, living in a fantasy

These beings, if that is what they are
the ones i continuously beat and scar

      calling them out
      leaving them discarded
labeling them useless, lazy and retarded.

all that you've done cold-hearted and cruel
making them live under my rule

      for i am an oppressor
      and i'm ashamed to face
      how i continuously contribute
to the destruction of the Black Race.
