Dad

      by Kenya Bryant

Yo daddy Yo daddy did you ever care?
You'd show up one day and still not be there
Yo daddy Yo daddy you say in you we should trust
But you neglect to love and say you hate us
I'm so tired of all your lies
I'm so tired of your fake midnight cries
You are a burden on the taxpayers' nation
Take your black ass to rehabilitation!
Huh! can't fool me with that look on your face
Cause you've smoked your life straight to a waste
      Crackhead crackhead without a doubt
You drug free--is a pipe dream--blow it out
      For a 20 a 50 an 8-ball of dust
You've given up your soul your life even us
So while we learn to just say no in school
The lord still takes care of babies and fools
I don't hate anymore my only feeling is sorrow
Knowing you won't be waking up tomorrow
It'll be the addict the basehead the fiend
Living the life of a crackhead's worse dream
You'll have no money and no place to go
You won't be searchin for rocks on nobody's flo
You zombie You zombie the substance has your mind
Everything you had in life you've left behind
You can't deny to us we're not children it's a fact
We are now adults and you still, a child on crack
You are not my father I don't know the term
The only thing you provided for me was the sperm.
